Metamorphosis is about transformation — the kind that comes from deep inner growth, resilience, and emerging into a new version of yourself. Half of the face is shown, with the space where the eyes would be forming butterfly-wing shapes broken into tiny eye-like fragments, symbolizing both the process of change and the way we see the world differently along the way.

This piece is inspired by my own journey through a phase of vision loss, a time that felt like a cocoon ... a period of introspection, adaptation, and quiet transformation. Like a butterfly, the work celebrates the beauty and power of evolving into who we are meant to become.
